SBDC and SCORE

Mentoring Works!  Small business owners who receive three or more hours of mentoring report higher revenues and increased growth.

  • SCORE provides confidential business advice through our network of 10,000 volunteer business experts.  Mentoring services are free, regardless of the number of times you visit a mentor.

Central Washington SCORE Office

  • SBDC (Small Business Development Center) services revolve around assisting clients with making better informed business decisions to grow and sustain their businesses. SBDC Counselors provide in-depth, confidential, no cost customized one-on one business advising, business training and advisor assisted market intelligence.

StartUp Boot Camp

StartUp Boot Camp

Wenatchee Valley College’s StartUp Boot Camp is an immersive program designed to provide information, tips, exercises, and tools to help entrepreneurs think about, plan, and launch their business idea.

Cost for the program is normally $300, however half of the tuition is sponsored by a grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce’s StartUp NCW project, and scholarships are available to assist with the remainder.  For more information, email cfore@wvc.edu or call (509) 682-6915.

StartUp NCW Office Hour

StartUp NCW Office Hour

StartUp NCW Office Hour is a free monthly program featuring different professionals each month who are willing to offer an hour to meet with startups and business owners in 15 minute increments.  These experts are available to answer basic questions in their area of expertise and share encouragement for the entrepreneur.

Topics include StartUp 101 for the Entrepreneur, Accounting, Business Legal Structures, Marketing, and more.

How it works: Sign up for a time slot – Prepare a few questions in advance – Listen and learn from the expert in the field

Office Hour is scheduled the First Thursday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Mission St Commons in Wenatchee.
